SHIRODHARA Continuous pouring of medicated buttermilk(Takra), oil(Taila), ghee(ghruta)or milk(ksheera)on the forehead in a specified manner & then allowed to flow over the scalp. Here pouring of oil is not followed by any massage. This treatment is usually done in anxiety, insomnia, chronic headache, skin diseases of head, hypertension, mental exhaustion, stress, premature greying of hair, diseases of ear& eyes.
